Katie Huff here.

Thanks for being here! I’m Katie Huff, a 31 year young Mama of two, part-time event contractor, and hostess with the mostess! I’ve wanted to create a space to be able to share my love for being a Mama, my obsession for event design and styling, and last but not least my love for hosting my family and friends.

For those of you that don’t know my full story, allow me to share.. I was raised in Southeast Michigan and was blessed to be surrounded by our family. I grew up watching both my mother and grandmother host get togethers and celebrations for years. Observing and learning what it takes to be a hostess and how to ensure those around you were always having a great time. I suppose you could say that’s where my passion for events truly began. I was fortunate to have known what I wanted to do with my career as I began my college search. I chose to attend Central Michigan University as it was one of the only colleges that allowed me to study both of my passions- I graduated in 2014 with a degree in Entrepreneurship with a focus on Event Management. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to work in almost every aspect of the event industry. In the 9 years of my career so far I’ve been able to dip my toes into hotel management, association management, wedding services w/venue management, hospitality management, and finally corporate planning. I’ve learned so much from each of these experiences, but my heart has still led me to want something of my own. I guess you could say that’s the entrepreneurial spirit of mine coming out. And I’m hoping this platform will give me just that, something to call my own! Cheers!
